I really like the idea of a dedicated driptray for the scales, but this one has a few flaws.
The recess for the scale is very low, making the scales hard to take out to do something else with it or rincing the grouphead after a shot, without completely moving the driptray. I would have liked it a little higher for that.
The other issue is that the laser cut manufacturing of the part leaves it very sharp. The slots, the scale hole, and the side/front edges are sharp enough to make cleaning with a cloth a very dandruff heavy affair.
Finally, the two front corners got slightly bent during shipping, which I don't blame GM for, but was confusing since the box seemed fine otherwise. I could pretty easily bend it back but there is a slight kink left over.
Other than that, it looks really nice, and I much prefer the flat surface with slots to the original drip tray.
