This drip tray top for the Rancilio Silvia replaces the stock one but adds a compartment for the Themis Mini scale. The scale's top now aligns with the tray - useful when trying to fit bigger cups underneath your portafilter etc.
Made out of 316 stainless steel for a long lifetime.
⚠ Care Instructions: Hand wash only. Avoid dishwasher use, harsh detergents, or prolonged soaking.

Grinblat Julian The drip tray is well constructed, and pretty much the only off-the-shelf available solution for the Silvia right now. The edges are indeed sharp and would be nicer if they were rounded off, but it's not dangerous, the openings on the sides of the scale are useful to lift it up. Just need to make sure the scale doesn't touch the walls of the tray, or the readings will not be accurate. Also, unlike the official tray, this one doesn't lock onto the rancilio and it can move back and forth, not a big deal but would be nicer if it retained the locking functionality

The idea is great and having it is definitely an asset. Would have loved some more consideration on the design though, with some better ways to take the scale out and allowances for the rubber mat on top to keep cups from sliding.

orsini Rough and raw unfinished corners make for a poor work flow and user experience. The concept is great. Execution is mediocre. If not for the deal offered at the time of purchase, i would be disappointed. The original tray looks much nicer and finished.

Fat Baz I really like the idea of a dedicated driptray for the scales, but this one has a few flaws.
The recess for the scale is very low, making the scales hard to take out to do something else with it or rincing the grouphead after a shot, without completely moving the driptray. I would have liked it a little higher for that.
The other issue is that the laser cut manufacturing of the part leaves it very sharp. The slots, the scale hole, and the side/front edges are sharp enough to make cleaning with a cloth a very dandruff heavy affair.
Finally, the two front corners got slightly bent during shipping, which I don't blame GM for, but was confusing since the box seemed fine otherwise. I could pretty easily bend it back but there is a slight kink left over.
Other than that, it looks really nice, and I much prefer the flat surface with slots to the original drip tray.
